Leon Enneking

After 42 years of teaching music (band, choir, general music, and World Music) in the Batesville Schools, Leon retired in 2018.  He continues to make music in a variety of ways: church, ukulele club, and  African drum circle. He was drawn to serve on the VISION board since he can personally attest to its dramatic effect on many programs and subjects in the Batesville area schools. The World Music program at Batesville Middle School and Batesville High School would not have happened without the support of the VISION Fund. He encourages all teachers to look into funding their dream projects with the help of this funding support.
